Up til now I wondered if anyone read it, except one who picked it up at Facebook. No response so far from 400 email mailings. But I know it is a great section of scripture. I love to explore it. Time and again, my heart has burned within me as I meditated on these verses. It is such a blessing that the saviour would be able to interact with defeated disciples. But He does. When He finished with them, I'm sure they were on fire with passion for Christ. We can clearly see that He is a mighty saviour who knows how to handle any situation. I am so thankful He revealed Himself to us. Praise God from whom all blessings flow; Praise Him all creatures here below! Praise Him above ye heavenly host; praise Father, Son and Holy Ghost. Amen!charleshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12433399617145386332noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-34962937.post-51514429840288048352012-06-25T18:59:51.977-04:002012-06-25T18:59:51.977-04:00Marianne Lordi has left a new comment on your post...Marianne Lordi has left a new comment on your post "THE EMMAUS ROAD-----CHARLES WOODRUFF":
(I had to reprint it for my readers. It had accidentally gotten erased. Sorry!)

Charles, I have to say that this teaching is up there as one of your best. As I read through your message, my heart began to burn in me with joy and anticipation on what is to come. Our struggles and our sorrows are only temporary so that even in the midst of a great trial, we can still have joy! Christ is alive and he is with us right now. He is the reason that we have hope in this dark and perishing world. With all that he has done for us, it is sad that we still doubt his power in times of affliction. This message was a reminder to me to not grow weary. I don't have to wait to be a victor in the battle I face. I am one now! We need only to keep our eyes on the Author and Perfector of our life.

Charles, thanks for your dedication and obedience to Christ. You reminded me to stay focused and steadfast as I wait for Christ to come.charleshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12433399617145386332noreply@blogger.com
